Founded in Amsterdam in 2020, Digits Institute was created as an answer to the
alternative jeans trend that has started later this decade. The designs do not confine
to high fashion – it’s simply aspired to provide playfulness, well-designed essentials
for the right price. They work with a passion for second-hand denim fabrics, as they
believe sustainability and durability are better for us and our world. Their
handmade pieces stand out by its edgy appearance.

Me as head designer of this modular brand gives me the opportunity to think in a
modular way as well. Fashion is something that I really appreciate, but it has to be
sustainable. So recycling and reusing fabrics and other materials brings me back to
the main concept: Modularity.
